Reticulated Silver Helix Ear Cuff, Made to Order

Rustic sterling silver, helix cuff earrings. Unlike sterling silver which is made from 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper, reticulation silver is a mixture of 80% silver and 20% copper. They are melted together, rolled thin and then heated and cleaned repeatedly in order to bring the silver to the surface. Once it is heated enough times to create this layer, it is then heated again until the silver begins to ripple across the top giving it the texture you can see in the photo. It is a lengthy process but the results are worth it.

Measurements are an approximation, each pair could vary slightly by a millimeter.

These are not ment to be bent significantly or repeatedly as this will weaken the metal. However, they do have a very small amount of give and can be squeezed a bit tighter once in place.

Due to the nature of these ear cuffs and how they are made each one will be unique with its own style of patterning and texture appearance. No 2 cuffs will look the same.

As this is a made to order item, processing can take up to 3 weeks.

Each piece is slowly hand-crafted by myself using traditional techniques. Naturally, this results in each piece being truly one of a kind with their own unique differences, variations and imperfections.
